In this engaging workshop, you’ll help prepare a delicious spread of classic British picnic favorites. Learn to bake flaky savoury pies, craft delicate finger sandwiches like cucumber or coronation chicken, toss vibrant garden salads, and whip up British sweet treats such as Victoria sponge fingers and strawberry tarts. You’ll also create, stir and blend refreshing elderflower cordial and homemade lemonade, using ingredients freshly picked from Jo’s garden whenever possible—a true taste of British life!

Once everything is cooked and ready, you’ll step out into Jo’s incredible garden to lay out your freshly made picnic. Relax on gingham blankets or gather around the garden table, enjoying the fruits of your labor amid buzzing wildlife, rustling trees, and views across the Cotswold rolling hills. After lunch, your guide will take you on a scenic afternoon tour through the North Cotswolds, visiting postcard-perfect sites such as Upper Slaughter, Lower Slaughter, and Stow-on-the-Wold.
