Today you will be met by your driver guide for an afternoon and evening of touring. You can first enjoy spending some time exploring Sudeley Castle & Gardens, the home of Henry VIII's final wife, Katherine Parr, (Guests to pay tickets on the day) or you could take an afternoon tour around off the beaten track Cotswold villages or visit some of William Shakespeare’s sites in Stratford-upon-Avon.
This early afternoon tour will be tailored around your interests. You will then continue to Coughton Court for an exclusive Rosé in the Roses tour. You will enjoy a private tour of Coughton Court, areas not open to the public where the present family live.
Coughton Court is the home of the Throckmorton family who have lived at Coughton since 1409. Their descendants have held it for 600 years and Mr Magnus Birch-Throckmorton and his family are the current residents. Magnus and his family welcome you into their home and explore the stories of this wonderful home, and as a younger family see how in the 21st century their practices are changing.
Magnus will lead you on an exclusive wine tasting experience as by day he is a well-known wine merchant and importer who will host this for you in his stunning private garden. The head gardener will then take you on a tour of the sublime gardens and answer any questions you might have. To finish the day tour your driver guide can take you on a relaxing Cotswold tour back to your hotel or even a country pub dinner or perhaps head straight back to your hotel for an evening there.
