Jubilant Bath & Cheddar Gorge

One of Britain’s most famous Christmas market lies on the cobbled streets of Bath looking onto the gorgeous Roman Baths and Abbey; a truly remarkable back drop. The stalls from local food and drink to jewellery to artwork are all businesses celebrating the South West and these passionate independent family businesses really get in the festive spirit. Don’t leave without sampling the hog roast or sampling a Christmas pudding. After visiting this wonderful market, we can explore the City of Bath and take in the Roman Baths, Abbey and then perhaps stop for a festive afternoon tea at the Royal Crescent. The afternoon tea is magnificently festive and one of the finest in England.

Full of festive spirits we can discover a secret that has been hidden deep underground in the Mendip Hills. Little did you know that it’s not just cheese stored in Gough’s Cave, but lots of toys too. Father Christmas will be stopping off to ensure his operations are up to scratch and has decided that while the final tweaks are made, he will invite you behind the scenes to marvel at the magic that is Christmas at Cheddar.
