We will step back in time and explore the ruins of the 13th-century Castle of Tintagel. It is a place to let your imagination run wild, astonishingly positioned on the dramatic cliff-tops, Tintagel Castle is also an amazing vantage point for capturing the breath-taking coastal views. We must take in the delightful fishing community of Port Isaac which serves as the location for hit TV show Doc Martin. Even if not a fan of Doc Martin the town is a buzz of energy! There are abundance of picturesque villages and towns to choose from including Padstow and Rock with their celebrity chefs and glorious beaches, the famous Rick Stein’s restaurants are a must for lunch. We can also visit Bedruthan Steps, a stunning Cornish coastal landscape, one of the most photographed and painted coastal views in Cornwall, you can see why they used it for the opening scenes in the TV series Poldark. One of our favourite stops is at Boscastle, one of the oldest harbours in Cornwall, it’s a great place to stroll the old cobbled street, and enjoy the view over the ancient harbour walls and … and perhaps enjoy a Cornish Ice-cream! If we have time before dropping you at your hotel we’ll stop by Bodmin Moor to view Rough Tor, home to some of Cornwall earliest settlers from Neolithic times.
